Pricing

A terabyte a seat. Never metered.

The desktop client is free forever. A cloud seat is $20 with a full terabyte of storage and free bandwidth — half of what the big per-seat tools charge, with orders of magnitude more storage in the box.

Sources: GitHub Team $4/user/mo + Git LFS ~$0.07/GB storage + ~$0.0875/GB egress · Perforce Helix Core Cloud $39/user/mo · Diversion Pro $25/user/mo · Unity Version Control pricing isn't published where we could verify it, so it isn't charted. Branchive: $20 per paid user per month with 1 TB included, bandwidth free, and each paid user brings 2 free-forever collaborators onto a repo — so a team of N needs about N÷3 seats. Storage past your included terabytes is simply another $20/TB block, absorbed by the repo owner. Free during beta.

Two dials. No surprises.

Your bill only moves when one of two things grows — and each has exactly one knob.

The repo grows → the owner buys blocks

Every repo has one owner, and its storage counts against that owner alone — 1 TB comes with the seat, and each further terabyte is another flat $20/TB block. A 3 TB repo is $60/mo, whoever else works in it. Nobody splits an invoice; nobody else's quota is touched.

The team grows → add a seat, get 2 invites

Every paid member of a repo carries 2 free-forever invites for it — one-time, for 2 unique people. One seat is a 3-person team for $20; two seats, six people for $40. A new seat brings invites and their own 1 TB workspace — the repo's storage stays the owner's.
