This is a plain-language summary of the terms governing Branchive. It is informational and will be reviewed by counsel before general availability.

The service

Branchive Cloud (hosted repos, sharing, pull requests) and Branchive Desktop (free client, works with any loreserver). Operator: Boord Information Technology Services, LLC.

Your content

You keep all rights to what you push; you grant us only what's needed to host and serve it back to you and the collaborators you invite.

Acceptable use

  • No unlawful content
  • No attempts to break isolation between accounts
  • No abuse of the service (rate-limit evasion, resource abuse)

Honesty about capabilities

The service is provided "as is", without warranties. Features are guaranteed only to the extent documented — for example, file locks on Branchive Cloud are enforced against another user's direct commits, pushes, force-pushes, and renames, but not against an approved pull-request merge or a repo owner/admin's force-release, and self-hosted deployments may behave differently. Reliance on any feature beyond its documented behavior is at your own risk.

Termination

You can stop using the service at any time; we may suspend accounts for acceptable-use violations.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date.
